The flowering

D'avril à octobre
Notre jardin se pare de palettes différentes en fonction des saisons. Quand fleurs et feuilles composent un paysage évolutif à redécouvrir chaque mois...

April
April
April
If April is the prelude then the garden is the symphony. Its palette of Narcissus (more than 350 varieties), Erythronium, Anemonies, Fritillarias, Leucojum, Puschkinia, Muscari, Crocus and other bulbs.

In all, more than 40,000 of them awaken to welcome you and celebrate the return of spring.
At the end of April the event is all about Narcissus with the presentation of the collection and the election of the Narcissus of the year by the public.
May

The perennial plants join the dance with the collection of multicoloured Candelabra Primulas in the principal role accompanied by Geraniums and Violas.

This is the moment to appreciate alpine plants such as Gentians, Lewisias, Daphnes and the entire collection of Primula Auricula.
June
June
June
June heralds the arrival of our favourite colour, carried regally by the Blue Himalayan Poppy which has become naturalised in our garden.

Other shades of blue can be found in Campanulas, Delphiniums, Camassias and Anchusas….

You will see nothing but blue until the roses begin to flower.
July

They may be double, simple, wild, creeping, bushes or climbers but they are always perfumed.

The roses perform their number but they never play solo; they are always accompanied by a multitude of perennials in a wide range of colours.
August
August
August
Phlox, grasses, Eryngium, Cirsium, Angelica, Cimicifuga, Eupatorium, Hosta, Ligularia, Helenium, Helianthus and other more or less well-known giants, rival each other with their colours and perfumes.

The show is non-stop in August, there is no interval.
September

The spotlight is now on the grasses which are at the front of the stage in a duet with the Asters.

A gentle decline where movement and shapes take over from colour.
October

October
Colour is in the foreground for this last movement. It lights up the foliage revealing the lustrous bronze and silver hulls of seeds and fruits. This is the favourite time for the romantic visitor to the garden who appreciates calm and nature.
